It’s everywhere…

Have you noticed it?  The new trendy adjective?

Bespoke

It means goods, especially clothing, made to order. I’ve seen it describing a suit. Makes sense. And I’ve seen it describing a pizza, which makes sense given the definition, but not in the way it sounds if you say it out loud.

The word started out as a verb, which also makes sense as it means suggest or be evidence of or, archaically, speak to. However, I still don’t get the use as an adjective. And I don’t think I want to eat a bespoke pizza.

Am I missing something?
